See, I was invited to a party. A birthday party, to be specific. A superhero birthday party. By Superman. (He turned 70 last year.) And, as the Ultimate Thor, of course I had to answer the summons!
Now, I had a problem - where could I find black fingerless leather gloves?
I tried searching here and there, in vain.
...Well, I had just moved into a new place, and I learned that all the stuff in the common storage room had been left by Great Old tenants, who had vowed never to return. I had already rummaged through the loot, but when I did it again, suddenly a pair of old, worn, fingered gloves turned up! ...And a perfect fit!
Insert scissors, and now I had the gloves. Everything you need is just waiting for you to find it, when you apply some randomness.
