seeking guidance on DOs, reputations

Ok, I admit! I am a rule follower! And I am struggling to figure some things out...I have searched for the answers (huh!) and, alas, cannot find them - and so they shall appear here. (SEE why I need to dance? lolz)

1. Do we take on challenges/dance offs in numerical order if there is no minimum requirement?
2. DOs - are the first ones closed? I can't seem to find the first few listed as events (but of course found the videos). Where do I start, where do I start? I thought just at the beginning and then there was the blog post about the alliances and who won what. Oh my. Confusions. And I guess this doesn't apply if you can start where you want?!
3. If one gets over 20 points for a choreopower, does that automatically give you a 'reputation' for that? Or are we contacted and told we now have a rep? Ahhh. Or do we let someone know/claim it some how? I ask because I have launched over on one. GRIN.

I know, gee, a little Owly, chill a little and don't worry so much. (Trust me, t is something I work on everywhere I go!) But I have been pondering this and thought I should just ask instead of wonder about things forever.

Hello Carrie! I'm sure Punky will be able to add to this, but I think I can answer your questions!

1. The only order requirement is for people to start with DQ1, following that, you can tackle the Dance QUESTS in any order - and they do not expire.

2. Dance OFFs can ALSO be approached in any order - however, they DO expire - they need to have an end-date so that we can declare a winner of each challenge. As you saw with the posts about winning Alliances, DO1 and DO2 have closed - but you have a few more days to record videos for DO3 and DO4, and DO5 has just begun (with unanswered challenges from DO2 rolling over to it).

3. Congratulations on your reputation as such a BEAUTIFUL dancer! :D My understanding of this process is that if you realize you've cross the +20 mark before we do, send Punky a message through the site to let her know. You'll then get to share with all of us your top secret words of wisdom about the Beauty Choreopower.

Thanks too Carrie, for letting us know it was hard for you to get 100% clarity on these things from the site - where would you intuitively go to look for this kind of information? Any suggestions?

What Mr.Judkins says = correct!

The main points:

DQs NEVER expire, and you can do them whenever you get to them!
DQs occasionally have restrictions that are mentioned in the event. (Must have 50 points, must have completed DQ1, etc)

DOs expire, and when they end, they're over.
If a DO is no longer listed on the events, it's closed.

THANKS! Your comments do really clarify things! And I have set out and done a DO5...heh heh heh. I LOVE it. I got a whisper of the dance secret, which is really cool.

And as for info - I was looking for it under "Events" and on the main page. Sorry if I missed it under FAQ!

I'm afraid I too am slightly confused. You say here that DOs expire--but the "I'm new!" guide suggests doing DO1 after DQ1 to learn the secret sign of your alliance. Does that expire?
